Chongqing Huansong Industries (Group) Co., Ltd., was founded, through a series of mergers and acquisitions, in 2003. Hisun, as it is commonly called, is a private company composed of nine subsidiary companies, which include Chongqing Huansong Syton IMP&EXP.Co., Ltd., Chongqing Huansong Motorcycle Sales Co., Ltd., and Chongqing Huansong Industries (Group) Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Yuhuan Branch. As a group our company now possesses more than 250 acres of land, multi-billion in assets, and more than 2,500 employees.

Hisun’s new production facility is currently under construction in Chongqing Yanjia Industrial Park, and covers an area of more than 150 acres. The new manufacturing facility represents an investment of more than 100 million USD and also represents the latest in construction techniques. Chongqing Huansong mainly manufactures large-sized, four wheel ATVs and UTVs, motorcycles, and engines. The production capacity of the new facility will be more than 500,000 units of ATV and UTV, and 1,000,000 motorcycles. The new factory will also have the capacity to produce 1.5 million units of engines and related parts, 1.5 million vehicle frames, fuel tanks, plastic injection parts, and painted parts. The new production facility will include more than 4,000,000 square feet of office space, research and development, and production area.


Hisun has made a commitment to the production of high quality, large displacement All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV) / Utility Vehicles (UTV) and Motorcycles. Hisun produces its own proprietary design of engines for its recreational products and stocks a generous supply of replacement parts. Strict quality control system in compliance to the QMS Standards, has gained Hisun national and worldwide certificates such as the CCC, COP and E3. Approximately, worldwide, 120 distributors on every Continent have grown to trust Hisun’s high quality and cutting edge products.

Group History

In 1988, Hisun’s founder started from meager beginnings as a chassis supplier in the, Jiulongpo District of Chongqing, China. This path would eventually lead to Hisun becoming a worldwide leader in the Powersports industry.

In 1992, Hisun became the first private-owned company in Chongqing capable of producing motorcycle frames. The establishment of Hisun set a great example for many privately owned Chinese companies now in existence.

In 1995, Huansong became the first privately owned company in Chongqing capable of building complete motor-driven vehicles.

In 1999, Hisun was among the first motorcycle companies to enter the Vietnamese market successfully building its brand named LISOHAKA. It then established the first Chinese owned factory in Vietnam and became the pattern for many other motorcycle companies from China.

In 2000, Hisun became the first Chinese motorcycle company to enter the Indonesian market. This introduction was followed in 2001 by the establishment of a Hisun factory in Indonesia.

In 2001, Hisun, under a joint venture with Jianshe Group, produced motorcycles for the Chongqing market.

In 2002, Hisun acquired Anhui Wangguan Motorcycle Company.

In 2003, Hisun established a joint venture with the Jialing Group and manufactured motorcycles in cooperation with Jialing in Sanshui, Guangdong province.

In 2003, Hisun opened a new manufacturing facility in the Zhejiang province to produce Hisun scooters and engines. Huansong Industries (Group) Co., Ltd. was established in 2003 and began using the brand name Hisun. The production base was moved to Shiyan Industrial Park which expanded Hisun’s production capabilities to include manufacturing motorcycle, engines, hull painting, injection molding, injection mold creation, and complete motor assemblies.

In 2005, Hisun established a relationship with the famous British Industrial technology consultant “J & J” who became a Technological Research Consultant for the group.

In 2005, Hisun took an active part in the Chinese motorcycle racing circuit and, received the right to name the top racing competition “Huansong Cup Off-Road Championships of China”.

In 2006, Hisun cooperated with Yilo, a Korean company and the top industrial design company in the world.

In 2006, through a significant investment, Hisun founded a base in Hubei province, and built a cooperative relationship with Hubei Sanjiang Space Group, one of the 500 largest scale enterprises in China.

In 2007, Hisun cooperated with the Japanese enterprise Fuji Heavy Industry, which is a Global Fortune 500 Company (and among other is the owner of Subaru automobile manufacturing). Through the relationship, Hisun helped establish two-wheel and four-wheel production lines in Shanghai.

In 2007 Hisun’s exports grew dramatically. Hisun not only received the honor of the best-selling export brand of Chongqing, but also received the honor of creating the most important construction project in Chongqing in 2007.

In 2007, Hisun invited Japanese experts to promote and improve the image of the company’s products.

In April 2007, Hisun took part in the 99th Guangzhou Trade Fair, and attracted the attention of many international customers. Hisun quickly became one of the top two exports of motorcycles and ATV from the region.

In June 2007, Hisun cooperated with Wal-Mart who is a member of the Fortune 500. Hisun proved it could meet the stringent standards of an international retailer.

In 2007, Hisun successfully designed and manufactured the first 700cc Powersports engine in China.

In October 2007, Hisun held the first International Dealers Conference. Hisun customers from more than 100 countries visited the conference held in Chongqing. Hisun realized the dream of becoming a Global force in the Powersports industry.

In Dec 2009, Hisun successfully produced a proprietary designed 800cc, water cooled, twin v-type cylinder, 8 valve engine which in in 2010 was incorporated in both sport and utility style UTV’s.

Today, Hisun has more than 20 registered patents and is continually seeking product innovations which make our products some of the most sought after by more than 120 distributors worldwide.
